Announcement of participation in "JAPAN TRADITIONAL CRAFTS WEEK 2025"
GINZA TANIZAWA TOKYO will be participating in JAPAN TRADITIONAL CRAFTS WEEK 2025 (JTCW), which will be held from Friday, October 17th to Thursday, October 30th, 2025.
JTCW is an event where 30 lifestyle shops in Tokyo introduce traditional crafts from all over Japan, and this year marks its 9th anniversary. GINZA TANIZA TOKYO will participate in this event as a store that represents Japan's leather bag culture, seizing this opportunity to connect tradition with modern life.
This year, we will be introducing "Nambu Ironware," a traditional craft that represents Iwate Prefecture.
During the event, a number of works that showcase the dignified beauty and craftsmanship unique to Nanbu ironware will be on display at the GINZA TANIZAWA TOKYO main store.
The spirit of bag making passed down in the city of Ginza and the beauty of iron craftsmanship nurtured in the Tohoku region.
Please take this opportunity to experience the charm of Japanese handicrafts, created by using different materials.
